Description
Mill's Lake is a big water storage, just before Dimbovita River enters the Bucharest. Used sometime for organized sport activities, water and aviation shows, it is a good location for biking, jogging and fishing, but not recommended form swimming.
The lake shore is completed exposed to the sun, the only shadowed part being a small island, "connected" with the shore through a small bridge. This can be a great place for portable radio activities. APRS coverage is very good, even with only 1 Watt tracker.
