Some of the people who came (or were brought) up here in former times might have had other things in their mind than to enjoy the scenic view. At least they hadn't go down the hill again ...
On the top of the little "additional hill" you have a beautiful view to the little township of Abensberg with the church tower and the new Friedensreich Hundertwasser tower with its golden bulbiform dome. In the southwest you can see the 4 chimneys of the oil refinery in Neustadt, followed by the other refineries in the Ingolstadt area and the three chimneys of the Irsching power plant.
On the top of the hill there is a board with some interesting informations about the history of this place and about the surrounding nature (unfortunately only in German language).
