Description

Naturreservaat

De Slufter is a remnant of an unsuccessful land reclamation scheme. The dike, which should seperate the North Sea from this area, broke after strong autumn storms. Since then De Slufter is completely open to the North Sea.

A very dynamic landscape rised, which is especially attractive to breeding and foraging birds.
