Description
The Schafberg over Wolfgangsee is wellknown. In the neigborhood of the Zwölferhorn lies his little brother: 'Faistenauer Schafberg'.
One way to reach the cache:
From Tiefbrunnau drive up to Schafbachalm somewhat over
1000m altitude. From there hike up to Schafbergalm. Around a hour later on a slightly ascending forestroad you reach the Schafbergalm- now follow the trail up to the summit.
To reach the summit nearby (Loibersbacher Höhe) you need approx. a half hour more.
On the way back (or as break inbetween) you can taste some home made gastronomic specialties like: 'Pofesen' and 'Krapfen' in some of the alps on your way
