Description

The red sandstone pyramid in the middle of the bustling market square of the city of Karlsruhe is undoubtedly one of the city's most famous landmarks. The pyramid is the grave of the city founder 'Karl Wilhelm von Baden-Durlach' (1679-1738). Today's sandstone pyramid was built between 1823 and 1825 according to a design by Friedrich Weinbrenner above the grave. Karlsruhe is the only European city to possess the real grave of the founder on the market square. Its height is 6.81 metres, with side edges 8.04 metres long and base edges 6.05 metres long.

Details, see https://web1.karlsruhe.de/Historie/Weinbrenner/pyramide.htm

A nice photo of the pyramid would be great, but is not a log condition. Please no spoiler photos of the inscription!
