My grandfather once told me the story about their ruby-wedding.
Which is equal to their 40th anniversary of marriage. All neighbours, friends and the family met up. And at it is customs, everybody gave a ruby. In size, depending on their origin or status. Grandma was a simple, modest woman from Hungria and mistrusted bankers, so she burried the jewels on their land.
But on her old she became forgetful about the hide and just remembered: "545 steps away from our thick tree with the 11:00-AM-sun in the neck." But from which tree? That she has forgotten, today on her silver-wedding-anniversary, in the year 2018. A pity about all the jewels, isn't it...?
What to do? Calculate the distance and bearing at home. Find the starting-tree and walk grannys steps.
By the way: she had 1 meter equal long legs which stood in a angle of 55 degrees, when she marched.
